Working Supervisor

Schedule: 2:00 PM 1:30 AM 56 days per week.Overtime: After 40 hours.Reports To: Assistant Plant Manager

A growing sheet metal operation is seeking a Second-Shift Production Supervisor to lead and manage production activities. This role ensures safety and quality compliance oversees team performance and drives efficiency in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

• Ensure all shop floor employees follow Environmental Safety and Health policies.
• Enforce Quality Management System standards.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of Mill Operators Decoil/RollUp Operators Saw Operators Packaging Leads and Packaging Operators.
• Step in and perform production roles when needed.
• Manage manpower allocation and redirect resources to meet production priorities.

• Complete and submit accurate daily production reports.
• Track employee attendance and break times.
• Conduct and document daily forklift and crane inspections; submit reports to Maintenance.
• Report damaged tools or equipment and request repairs or replacements.

• Work with the Assistant Plant Manager and Production Scheduler to set daily schedules and priorities.
• Verify order completion according to schedule and specifications (thickness width length squareness weight).
• Report and resolve shortages including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

• Steeltoe boots required.
• Clean shave required for respirator fit.
• Clean background.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to step into production roles when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
