Note: Candidates must hold an active Illinois Bar license and have 2 years of workers compensation litigation experience. Were looking for attorneys who are comfortable independently managing cases. Relevant personal injury litigation experience is also valued.

Job Description

• Independently manage workers compensation defense cases from initial investigation through resolution.
• Represent employers and insurers in hearings depositions trials and other legal proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies analyze medical evidence and negotiate favorable settlements.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs case evaluations and other legal documents.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues on complex cases while developing your own practice.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of workers compensation litigation experience.
• Experience managing litigation matters including hearings depositions and case preparation.
• Strong legal writing negotiation communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Willingness to attend in-person proceedings and meetings as needed.
