Job Summary
Our client a well-established and respected South Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Associate Attorney to join its West Palm Beach office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of Florida workers compensation experience strong litigation and negotiation skills and the ability to independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution.

- Independently manage a caseload of Florida workers compensation matters from inception through resolution
- Evaluate claims medical records wage information benefits and other case-related documentation
- Develop case strategies and provide knowledgeable legal counsel throughout the claims and litigation process
- Draft and file petitions motions discovery responses and other legal documents
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties witnesses medical providers and experts
- Attend mediations hearings conferences and other workers compensation proceedings
- Negotiate with opposing counsel and insurance carriers to achieve favorable resolutions
- Prepare matters for final hearings and litigation when necessary
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments strategy and expectations
- Ensure all deadlines filings and procedural requirements are handled accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with attorneys paralegals legal assistants and other members of the legal team
- Stay current on developments in Florida workers compensation statutes regulations and case law
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of Florida workers compensation experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida workers compensation law and procedure
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage workers compensation matters
- Significant experience with depositions mediations hearings negotiations and case resolution
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to effectively manage a substantial caseload and competing deadlines
- Sound legal judgment and strong attention to detail
- Professional client-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
