Job Description

• Represent employers insurers and related clients in workers compensation defense matters.
• Independently manage a caseload from assignment through resolution.
• Handle depositions hearings negotiations and settlement conferences.
• Evaluate claims analyze exposure and develop practical litigation strategies.
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status and recommendations.
• Prepare pleadings motions legal research and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys to achieve efficient favorable outcomes.
• Utilize a fully paperless technology-driven practice to manage cases remotely.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license.
• 1 year of workers compensation defense experience.
• 3 years of workers compensation defense experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage litigation files.
• Strong legal writing negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
