Job Description
- Represent employers insurers and related clients in workers compensation defense matters.
- Independently manage a caseload from assignment through resolution.
- Handle depositions hearings negotiations and settlement conferences.
- Evaluate claims analyze exposure and develop practical litigation strategies.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status and recommendations.
- Prepare pleadings motions legal research and other litigation documents.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys to achieve efficient favorable outcomes.
- Utilize a fully paperless technology-driven practice to manage cases remotely.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license.
- 1 year of workers compensation defense experience.
- 3 years of workers compensation defense experience preferred.
- Ability to independently manage litigation files.
- Strong legal writing negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
