Workers Compensation Assistant Underwriter - CA & AZ

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Assistant Underwriter to join a team. This role is a replacement position and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic department of professionals. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Workers Compensation the successful candidate will play a key role in quoting new and renewal business for workers compensation accounts across a wide range of binding markets. This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing in California or Arizona.

• Salary Range: $75000 - $95000 annually based on experience.
• Performance-Based Bonus: Eligible for additional compensation based on performance.

• Quote new and renewal workers compensation business across binding markets.
• Manage accounts ranging in size from $1000 to $100000.
• Collaborate with a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with binding markets leveraging access to over 25 markets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

• Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of high-volume binding market experience in workers compensation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software tools (details to be discussed during the interview process).
• Soft Skills:
