Work Schedule: Day Hours Salary: $15.00/hr.

Purpose of Position: The Library Intern will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Library.

Job Responsibilities:

The position is for four (4) hours per day five (5) days per week for a total of twenty (20) hours per week. Must be able to work between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Library Intern will work closely with the Library Coordinator to provide support and will work on special projects. The individual will play a key role in assisting with day-to-day activities in the library. This position will work toward meeting the Colleges mission statement and purpose. The position requires good attendance the ability to work independently or as a team player the ability to take direction and the ability to think critically.

Ability to work independently through a list of tasks.

Needs to be a team player-working together to support the college mission.

Work on assigned special projects.

Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of the department. All records especially student records are

to be held in strict confidence according to LPTCs Privacy Policy and the Family Educational

Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Assist department with other duties as assigned



Qualifications

Qualifications:

Student must be enrolled at Little Priest Tribal College

Student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average

Student must be eligible for the Federal Work-Study or Project Success Internship program

Condition of Employment:

This is a 100% on-site position.

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background screen.

Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable under our insurance.
