You will build and wire complex electronic assemblies that directly support the organizations aerospace manufacturing operations. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (start time 6:30am or 7:00am) collaborating with engineers and production team members to ensure build quality and on-time delivery. Your work reduces rework and helps maintain production throughput.
- Wire solder and assemble components from diagrams sketches and verbal instructions
- Use color codes and assembly tools (soldering irons pliers cutters strippers bench drill press) to complete assemblies
- Perform continuity testing on wiring assemblies and incorporate engineering changes into final units
- Maintain solder/inspection certification and adhere to company workmanship standards
- Suggest wiring layout changes for approval by development engineer and compile parts lists as needed
- Contribute to Lean implementation and perform other duties as requested
- Minimum of 2 years wiring experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of electronic theory and ability to apply basic electronic principles
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Ability to work as a member of a team and participate in goal setting and performance feedback
$23.20 - $29.00/hour
