Wildlife Field Biologists

LSAs Emeryville office is seeking experienced and qualified biologists for several hourly field positions. Field work could include special-status wildlife species surveys fish relocation nesting bird surveys roosting bat surveys and biological construction monitoring for protected species (e.g. California red-legged frog California tiger salamander northwestern pond turtle giant garter snake Alameda whipsnake California Ridgways rail California black rail burrowing owl San Francisco dusky-footed woodrat salt marsh harvest mouse nesting birds and roosting bats). A minimum of two years of monitoring/survey experience with some or all these species is addition biologists with valid 40-hour HAZWOPPER training certification are also desirable. The positions require the candidates to be capable of strenuous fieldwork under adverse weather conditions.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour. The compensation offer will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and experience.
