Job Summary

Join our team to create intuitive delightful experiences that make connecting to Wi-Fi effortless across all Apple platforms - while optimizing for battery life and protecting user privacy every step of the way.
As a Wi-Fi software team member youll be responsible for designing developing and optimizing the Wi-Fi user experience across Apple products including iPhone Mac Apple Watch and Apple TV. You will focus on creating beautiful intuitive interfaces while collaborating across software layers including frameworks APIs and system services to deliver seamless connectivity features. Working closely with design engineering and product teams throughout Apple you will be expected to own drive and execute the full software development cycle - from ideation and design to implementation testing and measuring the success of the features you develop. We want you to make intelligent compromises between several contradictory factors such as ease of use performance and efficiency.
Develop UI/UX features for Wi-Fi software across all Apple platformsnCollaborate with partner teams to build new features that delight customersnTake ambiguous problems and execute with minimal directionnOwn problems end-to-end drilling down deep to solve themnDesign and implement intuitive user interfaces that make Wi-Fi connectivity seamlessnWrite clean maintainable code that meets Apples quality standardsnParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenYou have 3 years of experience in UI developmentnYou have hands-on experience with AI tools and a working understanding of their capabilities limitations and best applicationsnYou have proven experience shipping customer-facing UI on Apple platformsnYou possess a deep understanding of Swift/Objective-C and UI frameworks including SwiftUI/UIKitnYou have a proven ability to debug complex UI issues including hangs layout problems view hierarchy issues and performance bottlenecksnYou have an understanding of operating system and networking fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP suite of protocols OSI model)nYou thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across team
MS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenYou have 5 years of experience in UI developmentnYou have experience designing and mocking up UInFamiliarity with design tools such as Sketch or FigmanYou have Wi-Fi knowledgenYou have a passion for creating exceptional user experiencesnYoure laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customernYoure obsessively passionate and inquisitive and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways
