Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of and ability to read prints be able to read a tape measure know the difference between various kinds of structural steel be able to weld in the flat position at a minimum and have the knowledge to set up their welding machine and space. Although a welding certificate is not required welding experience and the ability and desire to learn and grow is essential. SPI manufactures equipment for the material handling industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Continuously improve welding techniques and processes to enhance productivity.

Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of reading prints.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Understanding of various kinds of structural steel.

• Ability to weld in the flat position at a minimum.
• Welding experience and the ability and desire to learn and grow.
