Pay:$20.00 per hour
Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire Night Shift 5:00 PM5:00 AM Overtime required (including some Saturdays and weekends)
Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced welder for a busy night shift production setting.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a dependable team member to join a local manufacturing facility. This role involves welding metal parts together using blueprints and shop drawings. A successful candidate will focus on safety quality work and meeting daily production goals.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG Stick Flux-Cored and Aluminum welding on metal parts
Read and understand blueprints shop drawings and weld symbols
Measure cut layout and fit metal pieces together before welding
Check completed work using tape measures calipers squares and gauges
Use welding equipment grinders and hand tools safely
Keep accurate records of production time and materials
Requirements
At least 2 years of professional welding experience is preferred
Strong skills in MIG and Stick welding
Ability to read blueprints and use tools like calipers and tape measures
Must be able to speak and understand English
Background check and drug screening may be required
Work Environment
Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to heat noise and sparks
Standing for up to 90% of a 12-hour shift with frequent bending and reaching
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must wear industrial clothing with steel-toe boots and safety gear
