Job Summary
NOV is actively recruitinga Hardfacerfor our location in Broussard LA to perform service on products associated with job/tool assignment while following procedure provided by the NOV Service Quality Team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall operation of preparation service and completion of Downhole tools
- Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure
- To complete demands of the lead hand pertaining to tool production
- Develop accurate and complete data pertaining to service documentation in a timely manner
- Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required
- Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines
- Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor
- Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor
- All other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Bit Repair with expertise in Hard Facing
- Experience servicing of pertinent tools preferred
- Familiarity of company productspreferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Mechanically inclined preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be a team-player
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable with the ability to learn quickly and work flexible hours
