Welder 2nd Shift

MIRATECH a global leader in emission and silencing solutions is currently seeking 2nd Shift Welders in Prior Lake MN.

How does getting a 3-day weekend every week sound

Second shift hours are Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as necessary; sometimes required.

Welders that are hired are eligible for a $2.00/hr shift differential

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding based on product needs welding round and rectangular elements.
• Read and interpret project plans blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to
  perform the necessary task.
• Knowledge of QC and product specifications.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPEs provided.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Certification in welding from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders saws squares calipers etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with a team lift.

Pay Range: $23/hr depending on experience
