What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:Blueprint Interpretation: Master the art of reading and interpreting blueprints to weld metals with pinpoint precisiondelivering exactly what customers and the company demandHeavy Equipment Operation: Take control of heavy equipment like saws to expertly prepare materials powering the build process with skill and safetyMachine Setup & Maintenance: Own machine setup and preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly and efficiently without a hitchQuality Inspection: Sharpen your eye to inspect every weld for defects and flawsensuring every piece meets top-tier quality standardsWelding Techniques & Certification: Expand your expertise by learning and applying multiple welding methods earning certifications that set you apart as a true proSafety & Quality Compliance: Lead the way with rigorous safety and quality checks guaranteeing flawless results every timeSafety Policy Adherence: Be a safety champion by consistently following and promoting all safety policies to protect yourself and your teamWhat You Bring to the Table:Weld Test Proficiency: Must successfully pass a weld test to demonstrate skill and qualityMaterial Expertise: Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materialsExperience & Training: Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school trainingTechnical Skills: Solid grasp of basic math tape measurement and computer skills essential for precisionTool Handling: Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasksMeasurement Understanding: Able to accurately understand and apply measurements on the jobBlueprint Literacy: Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for specialized welding applicationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent GED requiredAge Requirement: Must be 18 years or olderWhat Sets You Apart:Previous experience in manufacturingPrevious experience working on truck bodiesPhysical Requirements:Step into the heart of our fast-paced manufacturing plant where every task drive this hands-on role youll be on your feet-standing for extended periods walking and using your hands to operate tools and equipment with precision. Clear communication is key so youll be regularly required to talk and listen as part of a safety-focused team-driven environment. Youll also lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical movements like bending squatting reaching overhead and occasionally crawling in tight spaces.
