Webster Groves Custodial Position

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial team for a full time position. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms following established procedures
Dust and wipe furniture; sweep mop and vacuum floors
Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
Replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers
Assist with room setups for meetings classrooms and events
Strip buff and apply finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers scrubbers extractors and vacuums
Wash walls and equipment; use ladders as needed
Lock and unlock buildings; ensure facilities are secured when not in use

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
TB test clearance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:
Familiarity with cleaning techniques tools and materials
Proficiency in using routine cleaning equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
