Web Developer

The Web Developer will work closely with the Project Manager under the direction of the Creative Director. They will consult with the client along with the Project Manager to understand the vision requirements and purpose of the web presence or digital journey. They will keep the Project Manager informed of the progress of each project on a daily basis. They will work within their software to design and code. They will manage all web presence pertaining to new development revisions and maintenance. They will collaborate with internal and external professionals to accomplish the vision of each project. They will design and implement the digital customer journey based on the needs and strategy of the Marketing department. They will also work with the Creative Director and Graphic Designer on the layout and aesthetic design of all web presence.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited College or University in the area of web development.

2 years of professional web development experience (preferred)

3 years of experience in similar role (preferred)

Proficient in HTML CSS Wordpress and Wordpress Plugins

Understanding of Javascript PHP MySQL and DNS configurations

Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.

Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience (preferred)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Proven working experience in web development

A solid understanding of how web applications work including security session management and best development practices

Adequate knowledge of relational database systems Object Oriented Programming and web application development

Hands-on experience with network diagnostics network analytics tools

Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

Advanced comprehension of a complex Digital Asset Management System

Ability to work with agility and effectiveness within complex projects and under tight deadlines

Creative and technical problem solver.

Creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual form

Develop and optimize workflow techniques to manage complex video projects effectively and efficiently

Write and speak clearly concisely and effectively

Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Research and remain current on the developments and applications of state of the art web technology

Job Duties

Write well designed testable efficient code by using best software development practices

Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Utilize AI-powered tools to assist with coding debugging documentation and research while maintaining ownership of the quality and accuracy of all work produced.

Stay informed on emerging artificial intelligence technologies and identify opportunities to improve workflows productivity and the user experience.

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

Occasionally travel to better understand the product or service by seeing it firsthand

Occasionally work on nights and/or weekends when necessary

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Create and maintain software documentation

Be responsible for maintaining expanding and scaling client sites

Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Cooperate with graphic designers to match visual design intent

Create high-quality products by deadline that meet the clients vision and strategic goals

Translate market research into effective creative strategies with collaboration from other team members to meet set goals.

Juggle multiple tasks; plan ahead; manage time effectively

Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of this work.
