About the Role

Boogie Team is looking for an experienced Web Developer to support a U.S.-based roofing and home improvement company serving homeowners across California.

The company provides services such as roofing roof replacement kitchen and bathroom remodeling and other residential home improvement services. The website plays an important role in attracting local homeowners generating leads and converting website visitors into consultation requests.

We are looking for someone who can improve and maintain an existing WordPress website while also developing new landing pages and website sections as the company grows. The ideal candidate understands that a contractor website needs to do more than look goodit needs to be fast mobile-friendly SEO-friendly and built to generate leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop update and maintain the companys WordPress website and landing pages.
• Create responsive pages for roofing remodeling service areas promotions and lead-generation campaigns.
• Improve website layout navigation calls-to-action forms and overall conversion performance.
• Optimize website speed mobile responsiveness usability and technical SEO.
• Build and maintain location-specific and service-specific pages to support local SEO and organic lead generation.
• Integrate lead forms tracking pixels analytics CRM connections call tracking and other marketing tools.
• Troubleshoot website issues plugins integrations broken pages and other technical problems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional web development experience.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and responsive web development.
• Experience creating landing pages designed for lead generation and conversions.
• Understanding of website performance page-speed optimization and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to build clean professional websites that perform well across desktop and mobile devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to independently troubleshoot website issues.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Portfolio showing relevant website development projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with home improvement roofing construction remodeling HVAC solar or other local service businesses.
• Experience building location-based SEO pages for U.S. businesses.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics Google Tag Manager Search Console call tracking and conversion tracking.
• Experience integrating WordPress websites with GoHighLevel or other CRM platforms.
• Understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads landing-page requirements.
• Experience improving website conversion rates through stronger forms calls-to-action page layouts and user journeys.
• Familiarity with Elementor custom WordPress development or similar WordPress tools.
