GreenSavers is looking for a Weatherization Technician in Training to join our production team. Whether you already have construction experience or youre looking to build a career in the trades well provide the training and support you need to succeed.
As part of our weatherization crew youll work alongside experienced technicians installing insulation air sealing homes and improving energy efficiency throughout the Portland area. Every day is a little different and every project makes a real impact for our customers.
Working alongside an experienced Crew Leader youll learn how to:
- Install attic floor and wall insulation
- Perform air sealing and duct sealing
- Safely operate tools and equipment
- Help prepare and clean job sites
- Drive company vehicles as needed
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers homes
- Follow safety procedures and company standards on every job
As your skills grow youll take on more responsibility and continue advancing within the company.

- Insulation or weatherization experience

- Starting at $23/hour with higher starting pay depending on experience language skills and qualifications

Required Skills:
3 years of experience in project management construction management production coordination operations or a related field preferably within residential construction remodeling HVAC weatherization or home services. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines. Experience working directly with customers throughout a construction or service project including resolving concerns and maintaining positive client relationships. Strong understanding of construction project workflows scheduling material coordination and subcontractor or field team communication. Superior verbal and written communication skills. A high degree of professionalism tact and the ability to influence others. Excellent conflict resolution skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations and resolve client concerns positively. Demonstrated ability to prioritize diverse responsibilities while maintaining quality customer satisfaction and project timelines. Sound judgment with the ability to make independent decisions while collaborating effectively with teammates when needed. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable learning and utilizing new technology including project management software CRM systems scheduling platforms and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office. Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record. Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification in accordance with company policy.
