Position Description for Waverly School District 145
The Waverly School District 145 Board of Education Waverly Nebraska is seeking a highly qualified Superintendent to lead the district and support its mission of ensuring success for all students. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position by July 1 2027.
McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. Executive Recruitment and Development are engaged as consultants in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the Board in identifying and screening the candidates.
Enrollment: 2100 Students
Location: Waverly Nebraska
Salary: Regionally competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
- Successful experience as a Superintendent or Senior Level Cabinet member with the ability and desire to engage with District 145 communities
- Excellent communication skills and a relationship builder with a desire to become an active member of the District 145 communities
- Student centered strategic leadership skills and a record of successfully implementing innovative strategies that have led to greater student outcomes
- A strong understanding of school finance budgeting and public accountability
- Doctorate preferred
