As a Field Technician Helper youll work alongside experienced technicians assisting with the installation maintenance and repair of residential water treatment equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with installing water softeners reverse osmosis systems filtration systems and water heaters.
- Dig trenches by hand or with approved equipment to prepare for underground water line installations and other plumbing-related work.
- Assist with running underground water lines and restoring work areas upon completion.
- Help load unload and organize tools equipment and materials.
- Prepare job sites and maintain a clean safe work environment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of a lead technician.
- Perform basic plumbing-related tasks while learning industry best practices.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
- Complete required paperwork and job documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain company vehicles tools and equipment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including digging trenches lifting up to 75 pounds working in confined spaces and standing bending kneeling and working outdoors for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude or construction/plumbing experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Plumbing HVAC construction or mechanical experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience using basic hand tools.
