What You Will Do

Project Planning Design & Implementation

  • Lead the planning design and delivery of water and sewer infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct engineering analyses studies and system modeling to support project design.
  • Review plans and specifications and resolve design or construction issues.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead crossfunctional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and project stakeholders.

Stakeholder Regulatory & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate with internal teams contractors regulators and the public to ensure compliant project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate utility documentation including GIS data and asbuilt records.

Operational Reliability & Safety

  • Support reliability efforts through occasional oncall or extendedhour response needs.
  • Promote safe sustainable and costeffective engineering practices across all work activities.

Qualifications

What is Required

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive civil engineering experience within a utility water/wastewater or infrastructure environment.
  • EngineerinTraining (EIT) certification at hire; ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure when eligible or within two years.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Proficiency with engineering software modeling tools and GIS/mapping systems.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills including the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical audiences.

What is Preferred

  • Experience with utility design construction oversight or municipal engineering.
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater system modeling or surveying practices.
