Water Infrastructure Program Manager – City Utility – 100-115hr W2 – Phoenix – 1-Year Contract

SunSoft Online is hiring an experienced Program Manager for a large public-sector organization in Phoenix managing major capital improvement projects for water and wastewater infrastructure. This is a 1-year contract through August% onsite in downtown Phoenix with occasional local travel.

The work: Manage capital improvement and rehabilitation projects involving water/wastewater infrastructure including pipelines pump stations tanks reservoirs wells sewer systems and related assets.

Responsibilities include planning design and construction management; project scope and cost estimate development; construction contract procurement and administration; technical review of plans and specifications; consultant/contractor coordination; and working across operations and other departments.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
  
• 3 years of project management experience
  
• 3 years of engineering or related experience
  

Preferred:

• 2 years managing consultants and contractors on Capital Improvement Projects (CIP)
  
• Experience with scope development proposal review payment applications permitting and design/construction drawing review
  
• Water/wastewater design plan review inspection or construction experience
  
• Current Arizona PE registration
