Wateproofing Field Service Technician (73093)

Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatments andassistancein waterproofing applications and work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Waterproofing & Concrete work

• Perform Leak Investigations Water testing & repairs for water infiltration

• Install waterproofing treatment using equipmentin accordance withestablished procedures and practices

• Assistin waterproofing application and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating products

• Perform minor exterior repairs for concrete masonry sealant and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structures

• Access to work areas may require the use of boom lifts scissor lifts swing stage scaffolds ladders or bosunchair to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction. Training will be provided

• Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting testing toidentifyany breeches or defects in the projects existing waterproofing membrane/coatings

• Ensure all tools supplies and equipment are in working order and arrange for replacements as necessary

• Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures

• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations including building trade fire and construction codes as well as company policies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High degree of physical fitness and endurance to complete physical aspects of the job including the ability to lift objects weighing up to 25kg

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks without direct supervision

• Execute professionalism in waterproofing works

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours asrequired

• Valid drivers license will beadvantageous

• Strong understanding of roofing waterproofing andcoatingsmaterialsa plus.

Education and Experience:

• 0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or related field

Physical Requirements:

• Required to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions

• May occasionally meet unpleasant or hazardous materials

• May occasionally require safety procedures when working at height.
