A Day in the Life:

  • Workers primary responsibility is to successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely safe and productive manner
  • Performs powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist
  • Reports malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and uses lockout/Tagout SOPs
  • Directs stages and places all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment
  • Picks prepares packages documents labels and ships all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: More than 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks forklift operator experience is helpful

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $15.85$23.77.
