Key Responsibilities

The Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) is hiring a Warehouse Specialist for the Utah State Correctional Facility in Salt Lake City. This civilian role (no law enforcement certification required) ensures the prison receives stores and delivers essential food and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics:Receive store and deliver food and supplies across a state-of-the-art facility.
  • Equipment & Transport:Operate forklifts reach trucks and CDL-class box trucks.
  • Compliance:Maintain strict food safety regulations.

Qualifications

Employment Requirements

  • Pre-Employment: Pass a UDC-funded DOT physical examination and drug test.
  • First 6 Months: Successfully obtain the following (provided and paid for by UDC):

*Forklift & Reach Truck certifications

*ServSafe Manager (food safety) certification

*CDL Class B drivers license (with Air Brakes endorsement)
