Hours of Operation:The core hours for the LRC are 0700-1530 Monday-Friday/exceptfederal holidays.May beto work outside of core hours as.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As directed the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishments storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing stacking or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker mayoperatehand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Performs a variety of warehousing duties thatrequire an understanding of the establishments storage plan.

- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Must have anMHE license and be capable of operating MHE with 4K and 6K capacity.
- Use DSS and MCPALMS intheperformance ofthe requirements.
- Other tasks dutiesand responsibilitiesbut not limited to: Ensure compliance withthestandard of care and practicein accordance withall established policies procedures governmentdirectivesand company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Two years ofrelated experience.
- Familiar with the use of DSS MCPALMS WMS and other systems in the performance of warehouse operations.
- Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English verbally and inwriting.
- Basic knowledge and skills requiredto plan control manage andbe responsible forthe successful completion of the work.
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a citizen of the U.S.
- Possess the ability to read write speak andcomprehendEnglish.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
