Warehouse Operator

Qualifications :

Trident Consulting is seeking a Warehouse Operator for one of our clients in Anchorage AK A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Warehouse Operator

Location: Anchorage AK - Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday (OT available nights/weekends)

Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr on W2 (Inclusive all)

Description:

• Prepare pack label and process domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Receive incoming materials inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
• Verify shipping documentation bills of lading packing lists and inventory records for accuracy.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to process transactions manage inventory and track shipments.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams carriers and logistics partners to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment following company and regulatory standards.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
