Warehouse Night Hilo Manager

Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Full-Time Manager of Warehouse Hi Lo Operations.

The key responsibility is to plan direct and administer all replenishment operations both logically (system driven) and physically (employee driven).

Ability to work Sunday-Thursday roughly 8pm to 5am daily

Salary: $80000-$86000

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee all Hi Lo operations to ensure compliance with operational processes safety standards and warehouse best practices.
• Monitor put away accuracy productivity metrics and KPIs to drive efficiency inventory accuracy and operational performance.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support workflow management and identify process improvements that reduce bottlenecks and downtime.
• Lead coach and develop employees through performance management accountability and proper product handling practices to minimize damage.
• Maintain staffing levels control overtime and monitor MHE equipment usage and repair costs to support operational goals and reduce downtime.
• Promote a culture of safety loss prevention accountability and zero-error execution in support of customer service excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a warehouse environment with food distribution cold storage or perishable goods experience required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution management principles and processes.
• Excellent communication leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and Outlook.
• Extensive warehouse experience with perishable products along with solid knowledge of distribution and transportation operations required.
