Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will manage all warehouse activitiesensuringefficient processes andmaximizingproductivity. They will oversee inventory management coordinatelogisticsmaintainsafety protocols and lead the warehouse team. This role requires strong organizational skills a detail-oriented approach and effective leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Manageinventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
Overseetimelydelivery of goods to production team and reconcile inventory
aftereach production order is completed.
Overseeaccurateandtimelyrecordingsof all stock transactions.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
Leading Physical Inventory across 3 Miami locations at least once annually
Team Leadership:
Recruit orient supervise trainscheduleandmotivatewarehouse staff.
Assign tasks andmonitorthe performance of team members.
Promote a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
Prepare Annual Budget andMonitor budgets related tologisticsoperations ensuring cost-effectivenessincluding Equipment Maintenance anddefining andbudget equipment needs.
Develop and implementlogisticsstrategies that align with company goals.
Supervise dispatching activities tooptimizethe flow of goods.
Logistics Coordination:
Schedule and oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods.
Coordinate with transportation companies fortimelyshipments.
Manage the loading and unloading of products ensuring proper handling.
Understanding ofInternational Documentation Compliance andvariancesbetween countries. I.E. Commercial Invoice Certificate of Origin Customs DeclarationDangerous Goods Declaration (if applicable).
Process Optimization:
Identifyopportunities for improving warehouse operations and efficiency.
Ensure Efficient Space Utilization
Implement andmonitorlean warehousing practices.
Develop review and refine operational procedures.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections tomaintaina clean and organized warehouse.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for staff and equipment.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintainaccuraterecords of inventory shipments and warehouse expenses.
Generate reports on warehouse operations inventory levels and staff performance.
Provide management with regular updates on warehouse efficiency and challenges.
Dangerous Goods:
Follow regulationsestablishedby local and international authorities such as theDepartment of Transportation (DOT)InternationalAir Transport Association (IATA) andOccupationalSafety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Classification: Dangerous goods are categorized into classes (e.g. explosives flammable liquids toxic substances). Proper classification ensures compliance and safe handling.
Waste Management and Disposal:
Proper Disposal: Follow protocols for disposing of dangerous goods to avoid environmental contamination. Work with certified hazardous waste disposal companies if needed.
Documentation: Record and report the disposal of hazardous materials as required by law.
Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.
Proficiencyin warehouse management software (WMS) ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety and health standards as well as best practices for warehousing.
Preferred Skills:Experience in lean warehousing and process improvement.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistical and personnel issues effectively.
Ability to lift and move products and materials asrequired.
Capable of standing walking and operating equipmentincluding but not limitedtostandup reach forklift andsit-down forkliftin a warehouse setting for extended periods.

Salary Range: $70000 to $80000
