Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Utility Worker

Location: Elkton Maryland(Onsite)

Pay:$17.50 Per Hour

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Our client in Elkton MD is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a full-time MondayFriday position with a daytime schedule of 7:00 AM3:30 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM.

Essential Duties:

• Clean and maintain restrooms breakrooms and other common areas.
• Sweep mop and maintain production and warehouse floors.
• Clean containers equipment and various plant surfaces.
• Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Receive organize and store incoming supplies.
• Manage employee uniform inventory and distribution.
• Wash dry and organize employee uniforms.
• Support production operations with general labor and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Operate a forklift when required (training available).
• Perform additional facility support duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous janitorial housekeeping warehouse manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working around chemicals in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing walking bending lifting and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in production areas where chemicals are used in manufacturing processes.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including air hoods/respiratory protection when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
