Overview
We are seeking a dependable Tool Room Attendant / Warehouse Counter Associate to support inventory control material distribution and internal customer service operations. This role functions similarly to a parts counter position assisting internal customers with locating preparing and distributing tools parts and inventory items while maintaining an organized storeroom environment.This is a hands-on warehouse role with no forklift operation required. Strong attendance reliability and a willingness to learn are key to success. This position may lead to a permanent opportunity based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare requested items for pickup and distribution
- Assist internal customers at the service counter
- Verify incoming inventory and stock items in proper locations
- Read and follow work orders accurately
- Maintain inventory organization and accurate storage locations
- Support warehouse housekeeping and inventory control activities
- Maintain a clean organized and safe storeroom environment
- Work independently while supporting multiple operational areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of recent stable work history with no unexplained gaps greater than 3 months
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Strong reliability punctuality and work ethic
- Ability to learn product and inventory information quickly
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse inventory stockroom or storeroom experience
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Experience working with parts tools maintenance inventory or supply rooms
- Experience supporting internal customers in a service counter environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
