Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Inventory Control Associate to support inventory management receiving order fulfillment and warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy assisting with receiving activities pulling customer orders and ensuring materials are properly organized and tracked throughout the warehouse.The ideal candidate has recent sit-down forklift experience strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and safe warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Receive verify stage and stock incoming materials
- Correct inventory locations and perform retagging activities as needed
- Recount inventory and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels
- Maintain organized warehouse storage locations
- Verify inventory quantities and support inventory audits
- Ensure warehouse areas remain clean organized secure and safe
- Support shipping receiving and general warehouse operations
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of recent Sit-Down Forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Experience with order picking and inventory counting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend twist pull reach and stand for a full shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in:
- Warehouse operations
- Shipping and receiving
- Inventory control
- Material handling
- Distribution environments
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn inventory and warehouse processes
- Additional forklift or warehouse equipment experience
