Job Summary
This position is located in the Naval Support Activity Regional Support Services Program Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department Recreation Division. The purpose of this position is to provide food and beverage service for catered functions conference and/or special events.
Performs necessary preparations in assigned area prior to opening the dining room such as;
- setting the tables with cloths silverware glasses condiments napkins and decorations.
- Prepares back-up tables with such supplements as butter ice coffee fruits juices salads and breads. Must be familiar with the menu for the day offer suggestions if requested record desired selections from guests and turn in the order for preparation to thekitchen.
- Serves side dishes such as salads fruit dishes bread wine or other beverages.
- When meal is completed clears and cleans table and the immediate area and resets the table in preparation for the next other related duties as required. Must meet minimum age requirement.
- Must pass all applicable records and background check.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Starting May 7 2025 non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant drivers license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRMA Installations. (review required documents section for more information.)
- Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.

A qualified candidate must possess:
Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
Knowledge of proper table setting to follow oral instructions; performs routine manual tasks involving few steps.
Must have an understanding of personal hygiene standards.
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
