Schedule: Days/Evenings
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience required
About the Role
We are hiring a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Morristown VT. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with hospital experience clinical pharmacy knowledge and strong communication skills. The pharmacist will support drug therapy management drug distribution teaching administrative duties and pharmacy compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and support patient drug therapy needs
- Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication oversight
- Assist with drug distribution unit dose and IV admixtures
- Support pharmacy teaching administrative duties and research-related activities
- Maintain compliance with state federal and facility pharmacy regulations
- Use computer systems to support pharmacy documentation and workflow
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
- Support safe and accurate medication practices
Requirements
- Active Vermont Pharmacist license required or must obtain upon acceptance
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
- Retail-only experience will not qualify
- Knowledge of unit dose and IV admixtures required
- Clinical and technical pharmacy practice experience required
- Strong computer skills required
- CPSI/Evident experience preferred
- Self-directed with excellent communication skills
