The pharmacist will support drug therapy management drug distribution teaching administrative duties and pharmacy compliance.
Responsibilities
Review and support patient drug therapy needs
Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication oversight
Assist with drug distribution unit dose and IV admixtures
Support pharmacy teaching administrative duties and research-related activities
Maintain compliance with state federal and facility pharmacy regulations
Use computer systems to support pharmacy documentation and workflow
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
Support safe and accurate medication practices
Requirements
Active Vermont Pharmacist license required or must obtain upon acceptance
Hospital pharmacy experience required
Retail-only experience will not qualify
Knowledge of unit dose and IV admixtures required
Clinical and technical pharmacy practice experience required
Strong computer skills required
CPSI/Evident experience preferred
Self-directed with excellent communication skills
