Job Summary
Position Description
The Volunteer Program Manager is a full-timeposition with benefits including IPERS responsible for leading and expandingHIRTAs volunteer program in service of older adults veterans and individualswith disabilities.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Recruiting onboarding and retaining volunteers and volunteer centers through active community outreach
- Supervising a Program Coordinator and providing ongoing program leadership
- Collecting reviewing and reporting program statistics
- Processing mileage reimbursement claims and ensuring program compliance including maintaining current volunteer documentation
- Supporting marketing and community education efforts to promote HIRTAs services
- Participating in regular manager-staff meetings
- Maintaining a person-centered approach in all interactions with the HIRTA team community partners and volunteers
The ideal candidate is passionate aboutworking with volunteers and the communities HIRTA serves. Valid Drivers license required to use HIRTA vehicles for necessary travel.
