JOB TITLE: Team LeadREPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Program CoordinatorDEPARTMENT: VocationalCLASSIFICATION: Non - ExemptTRAVEL REQUIRED: YesBBP EXPOSURE: IIILOCATION: As assignedDAYS/HOURS: Schedule as assignedSUMMARYThe Vocational Team Lead is responsible for developing and managing competitive integrated employment and community inclusion opportunities. This role fosters strong relationships with government agencies clients and staff while providing leadership and support to Job Coaches. The Team Lead assists the Vocational Development & Compliance Specialist on compliance needs client coverage and actively participates in client planning to drive successful vocational RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS:Delegate directives from the Program Coordinator to staff and assistance with overseeing client coverage needsEstablish and maintain key employer relationships securing CIE placements and supporting the launch of new contracts in neighboring support Job Coaches in IE and CI placements as support to the Vocational Program Coordinator in facilitating onboarding as Job Placement tab in SetWorks for all employed IE clients for accuracy and job coaching and promotes career development support to improve job and facilitates JE & CI development opportunities for job professional relationships with county funding in job shadow schedules for all new hires for the Vocational Program in the field support to job coaches to ensure SAILS standards of care are being adhered Operations team in coordinating coverage needsNotifies Program Coordinator and Vocational Services Director immediately of any problems with clients or employers to resolve issues in a timely manner and follow all mandatory reporting in the clients planning team to develop goals objectives and identify natural client PCSP with the Vocational Development & Compliance Specialist on a weekly basis to maintain with Program Coordinator to ensure the Job Coach Workbooks are up to date and all PCSPs Annual Intakes and semi-annual reports are always in county provider meetings and local vendor fairs in neighboring counties to promoteOther duties as knowledge of DDA DVR Transitions & CI service lines and best internal reports to ensure job coaches are achieving utilization metricsQUALIFICATIONS:Education:An accredited program toward a high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associates degree is preferredExperience:Preferred by not required minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in employment requirements:Ability to multitask and prioritize client services and job duties while maintaining flexibility in your scheduleObtain CESP accreditation within 1 year of hireEffective oral and written skills for case notes reports facilitating meetings and marketingProficiency in Google WorkspacePossesses high level of professionalism in appearance actions communication and business casual dress attireTime management in arriving to work on time providing clients with maximized hours completing daily documentation reports and submitting timesheet and mileageAbility to communicate effectively with clients families home staff and administrative self-motivation self-direction organizational skills flexibility and meeting to read write and communicate in REQUIREMENTS:Valid and Active Washington Driver License and auto insuranceMust pass a Washington State background checkFirst Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)Blood Borne Pathogen (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)ONGOING ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:Complete and pass the background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter or as have a vehicle with current auto have an acceptable driving record per SAILS Washington all APSE Continuing Education (CEUs) yearly.
