VMware Systems Administrator

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a VMware Systems Administrator to support a program onsite in Pensacola FL .

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

• Design implement and manage VMware Horizon View environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy virtual desktops manage pools and provide end-user support.
• Perform regular system updates patches and upgrades to ensure security and stability.
• Develop and implement VMWare best practices and security protocols.
• Create and maintain documentation for VDI configurations policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users addressing VDI-related inquiries and issues promptly.
• Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to and virtualization.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Security Plus (or equivalent) certification.
• 3 years of of System Administration experience.
• Experienced in VMware VDI administration.
• Proficiency in VMware Horizon View and related VDI technologies.
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of storage solutions SAN/NAS technologies and networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

What Sets You Apart:

• VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional) certification is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to:

• Sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer workstation
• Use hands and fingers to operate keyboards mice and other input devices
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Specific vision abilities required may include close vision distance vision depth perception and the ability to adjust
• Stand walk bend or reach; Access equipment located in data centers offices or under desks
• Lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
