Job Description
VMware Administration
Manage and maintain VMware environments (vSphere ESXi vCenter)
Perform VM provisioning configuration performance tuning and troubleshooting
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability (HA) DRS and clustering
Execute patching and lifecycle management for VMware infrastructure
Manage storage (SAN/NAS) integration and networking within virtual environments
Perform capacity planning and resource optimization
Veeam Backup & Disaster Recovery
Design implement and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions
Configure backup jobs replication and recovery strategies
Perform regular backup validation and restoration testing
Manage backup repositories retention policies and storage optimization
Ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements
Troubleshoot backup failures and ensure data integrity
Technical Skills
Strong experience in VMware (vSphere ESXi vCenter)
Hands-on expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and management
Knowledge of Windows Server Active Directory DNS and Group Policies
Experience with FSLogix profile management
Familiarity with Azure IaaS networking and storage services
Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
Experience with Azure security & identity management (Azure AD MFA)
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and business continuity
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
o Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
o Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
o Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
