Your mission
TheUS Vice President-Value and Accessis a key member of Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Inc. leadership team.Reportingdirectly to theChiefCommercialOfficerthe incumbentis responsible forsecuringand enabling patient access to our portfolio of products across all payer and relevant distribution channels while maximizing value to PFP.Incumbent will develop and support the execution of strategies for securing pricing coverage and reimbursementfor company portfolio.The VP of Value and Access primarypriorityis to support the successfullaunchand commercialization ofcelltherapy (tabelecleucel) and future rare diseasetherapiesfrom the value and access standpoint.The VP of Value and accesswill be focused on delivering accessto innovativesolutions for complex patients suffering from a devastating rare disease Epstein-Barr Virus Positive Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease (EBV PTLD). Patients with a history of bone marrow or solid organ transplant can suffer from this rare often deadly lymphoma which currently has no approved FDA therapies.
Activities conducted by theVice President Value andAccesswill includebut are not limited to direct leadership ofdynamicteam of V&A Access professionals development of payer value proposition reimbursement strategy HEOR strategydistributionand trade policy.Incumbentwill be accountable forestablishingmetrics tomonitorpatient access and for refining strategies and programs accordingly tooptimizeaccess and enable commercial success.
Given the complexities of cell therapy this role will play a critical part in addressingsiteof care dynamics centers of excellence networkssingle caseagreements and distribution network expansion to enable broad access across both academic and community centers.This role requires a thorough understanding of the complexities of the US Healthcare system as related to advanced therapies orphan drugs and across sites of care (inpatient/ outpatient).
Thisleaderwill work in close collaboration with multiple internal partners such as Patient Affairs Medical AffairsRegulatory AffairsGlobal Value & Access organizationmarketing Technical Operations Clinical Development Global Value &Accessand external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The role will include direct leadership of anexisting smallValue & Access teamwith the goalto buildout a best-in-class organization and capability
Hiringand performance management of VA team
Act astheorganizational expert on government pricing andaccountable for setting theoverallaccess/pricing strategy for Tab-Cel
Accountable forthe developmentmanagementand tracking ofobjectivesand budgets. Supports the businessobjectivesofTab-Cel commercializationpatient accessreimbursement and health systems strategyinsights.
The incumbent will have ultimate accountability for evidence development/dissemination strategies and execution of US value access strategies
Enablesvalue &access and commercial success by reflecting the needs of non-clinical stakeholders into lifecycle evidence of value andvalue &access strategies for business unit
Successfulcandidatewill work closely with multiple cross-functional partners across the Pierre Fabre Pharmaceutical organization including global partners

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in business marketing life sciences or related discipline
Minimum8 years of experience inValueAccess(Market Access) HEORincluding 3-5 years of leadership experience
Critical experience includes pricing and contracting strategies for medical and pharmacy benefit products
Successfultrack recordof developing and executing against launch plan/long range plans
Demonstratedexperience in Cellor gene therapy
Proven formal leadership experience leading and developingand scalingkey talent highly preferred
Deep knowledge of US Medicare commercial and Federal payerscomplexreimbursement methodologies and perspectives and current health policy trends
Deep knowledge of global evidence requirements thatimpactreimbursement and market access
High capacity to work collaboratively across multiple functional areas at varying levels of the organization
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Advanced degree in health economics or outcomes research or healthcare related field preferred
Rare disease or oncology experience
Enterprise mind set
Experience inoncologyacademic and community marketplace for Part B products
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- NJ preferred; hybrid (2 days/week in Secaucus office). Open to remote candidates depending on experience and business needs.
- Up to 30% domestic travel required with occasional international travel.
- If employee is remotely located regular overnight travel to headquarters will be required (Secaucus NJ)
LOCATION: US remote and/or hybrid
Compensation and Benefits:
Anticipated Salary Range: $320000-$390000
This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the applicable job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a range of factors including experience education location and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for a Pierre Fabre bonus commission or incentive program in addition to the base pay.
