Heavy Civil Construction Phoenix Arizona (On-Site)

Were partnering with a well-established employee-owned heavy civil contractor in the Phoenix area thats entering its next phase of growth.

This isnt a traditional estimating leadership position.

Were looking for a senior construction executive who can build and lead a centralized preconstruction organization while driving financial performance across multiple business units. This role will have executive-level visibility report directly to the COO and play a major role in improving profitability across the organization. The company is targeting significant growth over the next several years and wants someone who enjoys building systems developing leaders and creating long-term operational improvementsnot simply maintaining whats already in place.

What Youll Be Responsible For

• Lead enterprise-wide preconstruction and estimating.
• Standardize estimating processes across multiple operating divisions.
• Improve estimate accuracy and estimate-to-actual performance.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to improve profitability.
• Build and mentor estimating and operational leaders.
• Provide executive oversight of multiple internal business units with full P&L accountability.
• Develop scalable systems and processes to support continued company growth.

• VP of Preconstruction
• VP of Estimating
• Director of Preconstruction
• Director of Estimating
• Chief Estimator
• Regional Preconstruction Leader

You should have experience in:

• Heavy Civil Construction
• Asphalt / Paving
• Highway & Roadway
• Infrastructure
• Airport / Aviation (preferred but not required)

Were much more interested in someone whos built or transformed an estimating function than someone who has simply managed one.

Compensation & Benefits

$185000 Base Salary

Total Compensation: $200K
