Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to lead our Client Service and Receiving Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys coaching and developing team members improving workflow and creating an outstanding experience for clients patients and employees.

What Youll Do

• Lead and support a team of Client Service Representatives and Receiving Technicians
• Promote a positive collaborative and accountable workplace culture
• Train mentor coach and develop team members
• Participate in hiring and employee development
• Monitor workflow and patient flow to ensure an exceptional client experience
• Help implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Address employee and client concerns professionally and effectively
• Collaborate with doctors technicians and hospital leadership to support patient care and hospital operations

What Were Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience
• Specialty and/or emergency veterinary experience preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication organizational and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and accountability
• Passion for developing others and building a strong team culture

Compensation & Benefits

CVSS offers competitive compensation based on experience skill level leadership ability and overall qualifications. Starting pay will be determined in accordance with the hospitals established compensation structure and pay scale.

Schedule

Primarily MondayFriday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM x4 (10hr) days with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
