Full-Time Veterinary Assistant
Location: Maywood NJ
Schedule: Full-time Saturday Rotation
Pay Range: $17-$19 per hour (Based on experience)

Our 5-doctor small animal hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Technician whos passionate about quality medicine and making a positive impact on pets clients and the team.

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (on-the-job training available for the right candidate)

• Comfortable assisting with animal handling restraint and basic patient care

• Willingness to learn clinical skills and support technicians and doctors

• Reliable adaptable and able to work rotating Saturdays

• A positive team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

• Someone who shows up ready to help and contribute to a great culture

• Assist with patient restraint exams treatments and basic procedures

• Help prepare rooms equipment and patients for appointments and surgery

• Support technicians and DVMs during procedures and daily workflow

• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas exam rooms and equipment

• Assist with client communication patient check-ins and discharge support
