The Vendor Data Specialist is a critical part of the Supplier Operations Team ensuring accuracy and consistency of vendor data this role you will support teams cross-functionally in support of our customers and their vendors responding to inquiries ensuring all necessary validation occurs prior to allowing changes or updates. This role works closely with the Data and Reporting Teams as a liaison to the Operations role is fully in person in our Bonita Springs office.
Essential Functions:DutiesandResponsibilities
Ensuredata consistencyand adherence to policiesregardingvendor data records
Provide support to suppliers and customersviainbound email inquiries
Provide support to internal teams via Jira tickets facilitating vendor record updates and validation
UseTableau reporting to identifyinconsistenciesin data andtake appropriate correctiveactions
Consistently work on special projects to achieve business goals and customer objectives
Assist the Supplier Enablement team with prioritization related to outbound call lists ensuring high priority items are addressed accordingly
Provide support to the Payments Team as neededto complete payment processing timely
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with Salesforce Jira and Office 365 applications
Attention to detailand ability to follow internal policies and procedures
Advanced Excel skills especially the ability to work with large sets of data
High sense of urgency to completetasks timely and accurately
Education and Experience:
Required:
High School Diplomaor equivalent
A minimum of2 yearsexperience in a customer support role supporting both internal and external customers
Preferred:
College Degreeor equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at times
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing sitting reaching manual dexterity to operate office machines stooping bending to handle files and supplies and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and musclepain.
