Job Summary
The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is currently accepting applications for a Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal interscholastic coaching position within a competitive CIF girls lacrosse are seeking a positive energetic and team-oriented coach who will serve as a strong role model and represent OLP with integrity enthusiasm and a commitment to developing student-athletes. The ideal candidate will bring lacrosse coaching experience and a passion for teaching fundamentals developing players and contributing to a positive competitive and supportive team role requires a coach who values competitive success while emphasizing character development teamwork accountability sportsmanship and personal growth aligning with the mission and values of qualities include:Support and uphold the mission and values of the Academy of Our Lady of PeaceStrong lacrosse coaching knowledge and experienceEffective communication and leadership skillsCommitment to teamwork and student-athlete developmentAbility to mentor and positively influence female student-athletesAbility to work collaboratively with the varsity coaching staffPositive attitude and commitment to creating a supportive team environmentAdditional Expectations:Assist with the planning organization and implementation of the varsity lacrosse programDevelop and implement practice plans focused on fundamentals skill development and team conceptsAssist with game preparation strategy and in-game coachingProvide individual and position-specific instruction to student-athletesHelp establish and maintain a positive team culture discipline and expectationsBuild positive relationships with student-athletes and familiesCommunicate effectively with the head coach and athletic administrationAssist with game-day responsibilities and team operationsSupport the overall goals and vision of the OLP
Required Documents & Pre-Employment Requirements:Applicants must submit a cover letter resume and two professional references from current or former supervisors. Candidates must also provide official transcripts a current negative TB test result or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire complete required training and successfully complete Livescan fingerprinting. Employment is contingent upon obtaining fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
