Varicent Developer
Key Responsibilities
1. Varicent Development & Configuration
Design configure and maintain Varicent Incentives modules including:
o Compensation models
o Components rules and calculations
o Data tables and data integrations
o Workflows and approval processes
Build and optimize ICM models to support incentive plan changes and business needs.
2. Data Management & Integration
Manage ETL processes for loading and transforming sales/HR/finance data.
Create and maintain robust data pipelines for accurate timely compensation processing.
Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
3. Reporting & Analytics
Develop dashboards and reports within Varicent (Composer Presenter or other modules).
Provide insights on sales performance incentive payouts quota attainment and trends.
Deliver monthly quarterly and annual compensation analytics to leadership.
4. Support & Operations
Execute monthly/quarterly compensation runs validations and reconciliations.
Resolve system issues calculation discrepancies and user queries.
Work with cross functional teams (Sales Ops Finance HR) to support compensation cycles.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain documentation for models rules data flows and integrations.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls.
Assist with UAT testing and deployment of enhancements.
