VA Eligibility Specialist Remote

Time Commitment: 2030 hours per week short-term project

We are seeking experienced VA Eligibility Specialists to evaluate and improve AI-generated guidance on veterans health care. Youll use your enrollment and eligibility expertise to ensure questions reflect real veterans needs and answers are accurate complete and useful. No prior AI experience is required.

• Review VA health care questions for realism and relevance.
• Develop rubrics covering eligibility enrollment priority groups income requirements and means testing.
• Evaluate guidance on care coordination community care under the MISSION Act and access to care.
• Assess AI-generated answers for errors omissions and outdated information.
• Provide clear actionable written feedback to the project team asynchronously.

• Previous VA enrollment eligibility or care coordination experience or experience as a VA social worker.
• At least 1 year of experience in VA health care enrollment eligibility determination or care coordination.
• Working knowledge of priority groups income and means testing and community care.
• Based in the United States.
• Ability to start quickly and commit 2030 hours per week.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with veteran outreach and assisting veterans with health care applications.
• Experience creating guides checklists or training materials.
• Experience supporting diverse veterans and families including rural and non-English-speaking communities.
