Position Details:
UX Designer-DallasTX
Location : DallasTX- 75254 or Lexington KY-40503(Onsite Role)
Project Duration: 3 months (Contract to Hire)
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 an hour on W2
Role Description:
As a product designer on our team youll design intuitive interfaces and collaborate closely with engineers data scientists and manufacturing experts to transform complex manufacturing problems into user-friendly experiences that drive operational excellence. Work closely with manufacturing teams and stakeholders to learn about their daily workflows and understand what they need to do their jobs effectively. Share design insights and ideas with product and engineering teams to help improve our platforms and user experiences. Build interactive prototypes that accurately represent data and functionality helping teams visualize new features across our different platforms. Test designs with real users to make sure theyre intuitive and solve the right problems for people who use our tools every day. Create detailed design handoffs and work alongside engineering teams to bring designs to life ensuring they work well for our users.
What Were Looking For:
Masters degree in User Experience Design UX/UI Design Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Interaction Design Digital Design Information Systems Computer Science or a closely related field.
5-8 years of professional experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in user research UX/UI design prototyping and interaction design across web and/or mobile applications.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to use AI to produce design workincluding hands-on experience with or genuine eagerness to learn AI- and code-based prototyping tools
A product-minded approach with the ability to consider business needs use cases and technical constraints alongside user needs.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
Working familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers and to prototype using code-based tools.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to both design and non-design audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the professional services industry (e.g. industrial financial accounting consulting).
Demonstrated curiosity and self-direction in adopting emerging AI tools and workflows ahead of the curve.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment.
Knowledge of user behavior analytics and UX metrics tools such as Google Analytics Hotjar or similar.
Certification in UX design or design thinking methodologies.
