Job Summary
The Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District (District) is seeking a Utility Worker to assist in maintaining vital water and wastewater this role you will work with a skilled operations team develop valuable technical skills and support safe reliable utility service for approximately 28000 customers.

The Mukilteo Water and Wastewater Districts service area includes 8.3 square miles in the City of Mukilteo the City of Everett parts of the Unincorporated Areas of Snohomish County and Paine Field Airport. We provide essential water and wastewater services to our community of approximately 28000 customers.

Position
As a Utility Worker you will take on active hands-on work in the Operations Department using hand power and mobile tools to help keep District systems operating safely and will work alongside experienced team members handle individual and specializedassignments and respond to after-hours or emergency needs when reliable service matters most.
Your work may include installing servicing and repairing water and wastewater facilities; repairing leaks; flushing water systems; installing valves and setting meters; and providing courteous professional service to customers.
Depending on experience and qualifications the successful candidate will fill one of the following positions:
Classification Monthly Salary Range
Utility Worker I: $6627 - $8461
Utility Worker II: $7090 - $9055
Utility Worker III: $7586 - $9689
The candidates experience and qualifications will determine classification and salary placement.
