Job Summary:
The Utility Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and organized manufacturing environment. Duties include general housekeeping removing and storing empty pallets and recyclable materials cleaning filling lines and production equipment and completing other tasks or special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to read write and communicate in English
Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Previous janitorial/custodial experience and manufacturing experience are preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50100 lbs.
Ability to stand walk bend climb stairs push pull and reach throughout the shift.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures around paint odors dust noise and manufacturing equipment.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment including a respirator when necessary.
Mandatory:
1-3 years Experience
