Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individuals relevant knowledge skills and experience. • This position qualifies for a $500 Sign-On Bonus. This bonus is not valid for any former Cactus Petes team members or current team members.
• Responsible for the washing drying folding ironing and storing of linens for the laundry.

• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.

• Sort wash dry fold iron and store linens according to established procedures.

• Perform routine maintenance on the laundry equipment; includes cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer.

• Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy.

• Assist vendors who as part of their service perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations.

• Handle cleaning products in a safe manner.

• Maintains daily worksheets.

• Must be willing to work any shift.

• Count & process reclaimed items.

• Weigh & count all received linen.

• Keep accurate counts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments.

• This is a uniformed position which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

• No formal education .

• One year experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful.

• Knowledge of operating laundry equipment a plus.
